Schwarzwald/Blackforest, winter 2004

Since the Blackforest has been our first real outdoor hike back
in 1986, we always planned to go back there for a winter trip. The
original planning of doing this in winter 1987/1988 became a bit
delayed to winter 2004. Since the weather report promised a lot
of snow there in this winter, we finally set off there right after christmas.
The old map from 1986 showed the way very well and even the Feldberg
was still at the same spot (believe it or not :-). This time, we even
managed to get some pictures from the trip (we are still waiting for
the pictures from 1986 trip, Stephan....).
We went by car to Titisee and then did a big loop (counterclockwise) around the
Feldberg, passing Keßlerhöhe, Feldberg, Todtnauberg, Todtnau, village
Feldberg, Windgefällweiher and then back to Titisee. In six days, this
added up to some 70kms.
