 Los Glaciares, Patagonia 2002/2003 - picture 010

This is the smallest distance between glacier and land, close to the mirrador. Once the ice has reached the land, the water build a huge reservoir until the pressure breaks the ice and virtually spits out the water. The happens every eight(?) years or so, supposedly a huge spectacle (haven't seen it...).
